Jussie Smollett is finally back to work after his alleged staged attack last year in the city of Chicago, but this time as a director. The former ‘Empire’ star is taking a shot at directing.
Jussie has gotten himself a new showbiz gig in New York, where he's directing the film adaptation of "B-Boy Blues,” which stars Ledisi, Brandon Evans and Broderick Hunter. Many would have assumed his comeback to the movie industry impossible, but Jussie still makes a place for himself in the industry.
The movie star, still insists that his "attack" wasn’t a hoax, and says he would be providing new evidence to back it up. He definitely will get a chance to present his new evidence because he's still facing criminal charges and a civil lawsuit from the City of Chicago.
