
The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards held last night, August 30, 2020, with performances that aired from different locations in New York City due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Lady Gaga, who led the evening with nine nominations alongside Arina Grande, won five honours at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Ariana Grande walked away with four wins, while The Weeknd nabbed two and dedicated his awards speeches to justice for Jacob Blake and Breonna Taylor.
